  • Analyzing average LPI and standard deviation...

I analyzied lumosity lpi standard deviation.. maybe i am 23 years old so i decided standard to 20~24 years old.

i thinking lumosity average lpi (20~24 years old) is 1320(cuz i was 50.7th percentile maybe in 20~24 years old is 1330..) so maybe 1320 is average

and i was reach 97.8th percentile is 1702

so i thinking +1 deviation is 185 (cuz 97.8th percentile is +2 deviation)

so calculating..is not exact that values

    20~24 years age standard

    Top 0.1% - 1890
    Top 0.5% - 1795
    top 1% - 1749
    top 2% - 1699~1700
    top 5% - 1625
    Top 10% - 1556
    Top 20% - 1475
    Middle - 1320
    Bottom 20% - 1164

Bottom rank is not accurate value but i think possible reference
    -- i set standard --
    average : 1320
    standard deviation : 185

    p.s. i respect Lina k....

she/he was reach top 0.1% owo

    i wanna go top 0.1%....

I think like anything it takes a lot of hard work and repetition. if you look at lina ks videos, she played hundreds of games to get her lpi to move a couple points. most people seem to call it quits after their lpi jumps from 1300 tp 1700 because nobody wants to put the work in.

mine is 1906, but I don't think they count the free players lpi in their percentages.

My LPI is between 1600 and 1700. I'll think I'll leave it at that.

Hi guys. My score is 1631. I just wanted to get a sense of what that means. It is a bit skewed since whenever the memory game involving the beach items comes along, I just tank it to get to the next game. Once I was able to play the game and remembered all the items, it is just too boring to play. I

Tidal Treasures takes a really long time to finish. But 1631 is not too bad for the free version of Lumosity. The people who have the premium version just keep playing the games they like or are good at over and over to get a high score.

I believe 1631 is well above the average. No hard facts, just a belief.

i will start looking at my lpi after every game and see the effect. i hope to crack the algorithm for determining lpi

I think they explain somewhere that they do not take into account your "worst" games LPI for determining each category, and the general LPI is calculated from all games. And if you have a general LPI of let say 1500 in flexibility, and the games in flexibility range from 1200 to 1800, going from 1200 on 1500 on those games will change a lot. By targeting my "worst" games in each category, and working on them a bit, I gain about 85 in general LPI.
